Microsuction is now the gold standard ear wax removal technique.
Water irrigation should be used selectively - not as the norm. In fact, it is only really appropriate for extremely viscous or sticky wax, at low pressure and at the correct temperature range.
Peter now offers gentle irrigation for the occasions when this is required (with your consent).

Peter takes calls 7 days a week and checks emails daily. Home visits are available to Chester, Deeside, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool, Ormskirk, Runcorn, St Helens, Warrington, Widnes, Wigan, Wirral & surrounding areas.

In Dec 2023, Peter has undertaken further training with Rory Kewney, an experienced, qualified and registered audiologist, with a view to using the advanced technique of endoscopic microsuction in 2024. A specialist endoscope is used to see a wide panoramic view of the ear canal in high definition, while the suction is being undertaken. The practitioner has a direct view of what they are doing at all times and it makes the job easy, safe and thorough. In addition, if you have a smart TV, Peter can mirror the procedure to your TV screen so you can see what is happening in real time.

Peter aims to provide this in a caring and responsive manner for those aged 18+ covering all Merseyside, Wirral, Chester and surrounding areas regardless of race, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
